Day 1: After breakfast, visit the largest historical museum in Georgia. Metekhi Temple (V-XII c.). The Narikal fortress (IV c) is the soul of Tbilisi. Sion Cathedral (VI-XII century.) – Built in the name of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary – one of the most famous monuments of the old city. Lunch with Georgian cuisine and wine. After lunch, visit Mount Mtatsminda (Holy Mountain), from where the whole city is seen as in the palm of your hand.
Day 2: After breakfast departure to Kakheti.
Arrival in Tsinandali – the estate of Alexander Chavchavadze (XIX century.), Which includes the House Museum, the famous park with unique plants and ancient trees, an ancient wine cellar with the rarest specimens of modern and vintage wines with wine tasting.
In the house – the museum recreated the interiors of offices, bedrooms, kitchen utensils, watches, books and an old piano. Many of them were presented by Alexander Griboyedov to his future wife Nino Chavchavadze.
Parts of Alaverdi belong to the 6th century, the modern cathedral was built in the 11th century by Kvirike the third of the kakheti.
Departure towards Kvareli (80 km). Visiting the unique building of the 4th century Nekresi. If possible, participate in the Rtveli grape harvest. On the way visit the Gremi Monument.
In the evening return to Tbilisi.
Day 3 : After breakfast departure of Mtskheta. In Mtskheta we shall see the unique church of the VI century – Jvari Monastery that is in the list of monuments of cultural inheritance of world.
In the fields of the tour, we shall see Svetitskhoveli Cathedral as well, Shiomghvime and Zedazeni Monasteries.
The Shio Mgvime monastery is a medieval monastic complex in Georgia, near the town of Mtskheta.
Zedazeni monastery is a Georgian orthodox monastery, located on the Zedazeni mountain the hills of Saguramo, northeast to Mtskheta and to the east side of the Aragvi River.
Departure to the Gori direction for visit Uplistsikhe (“the Lord’s fortress”) Cave Town-Fortress – an ancient rock-hewn town ( 6th century BC).
In case of desire it is possible to visit Stalin’s house museum in Gori. Joseph Stalin was the leader of the Soviet Union from the mid-1920s until his death in 1953. Holding the post of the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, he was effectively the dictator of the state.
(4 – 7) Day: after breakfast we will go to Guaduri.
We rent a ski. We buy ski passes.
Skating. In Gudauri, there are many routes of different levels of skiing. For lovers of the prepared slopes, there are 22 slopes at the resort, and the blue slopes are for beginners and black from the highest station of the 3307 m lift. But Gudauri is famous for its snowy open spaces for freeriding. So here everyone can find.
Day 7: at night we return to Tbilisi.
